Meet Matt Eide, REALTOR Website in Victoria BC!

Born and raised on Salt Spring Island, Matt moved to Victoria BC after completing his Bachelor of Commerce degree at Royal Roads University.  He got into the real estate industry first from buying & managing his own revenue properties. “That was my start, which was buying my own revenue properties and managing them myself. I now own 11 suites. That was how I got started and grew my passion, was my own purchasing of properties” tells Matt. Afterwards, Matt started a real estate software company with two other men, and after 9 years they decided to sell it. After selling the real estate software company, Matt took the plunge and got his real estate license.

Matt would like to thank Stacey Dewhurst, a fellow realtor and friend, for mentoring and helping him with revenue properties. He would also like to thank his best friend, Scott Travelbea, one of the top mortgage brokers in Victoria, for helping motivate Matt throughout their schooling and business ventures. Matt’s grandfather, Richard Toynbee was a long time realtor and real estate developer on Salt Spring Island. Matt acknowledges “what a wonderful and inspiring man he was.”

Matt’s favourite part of his job is educating people about the purchasing of properties, what to focus on, and finding the perfect place. “What I really enjoy is teaching people the important things they might not notice” explains Matt. “I have a strong passion for real estate, especially over the last 15 years. It’s been just over the last 5 years that I’ve had my realty license, and it was a wonderful transition to a total self-employed job that was totally my passion” says Matt.

Matt became a LYF Marketing client earlier this year. Generating new business through social media and staying in touch with prospects and past clients though email marketing were two areas that Matt saw a lot of potential in. We immediately began to see results in the form of leads and prospects and haven’t looked back since.

Prior to working with us Matt identified the need for a stronger web presence. Potential clients were visiting his current site and potential buyers were as well. Matt knew  a more thoughtful and well designed website would better reflect his business and offer a better presentation for his listings.

With his influence designed Matt a new site on our industry leading real estate website platform. Matt’s new site works across all mobile devices, presents listings with large HD images, and thoughtfully highlights the advantages of hiring Matt Eide as your REALTOR®.

We love working with Matt Eide, and have had the pleasure of building him a new website and running his social media accounts. To learn more about Matt, visit his website here.
