Here at LYF Marketing we’ve designed many REALTOR websites and have been working with REALTORS every day for years now. Through this time we’ve noticed some emerging trends and we decided it was probably a good time to address them. Vancouver and Victoria are some of the hottest markets in the world right now, and every REALTOR is searching for ways to carve out their piece of the pie in what’s become an ultra-competitive field.
In an effort to acquire more leads, some REALTORS have lost sight of what’s most important when it comes to their own website. The first step in our journey towards creating the best REALTOR websites possible was taking the time to understand the job of a REALTOR. Why the job of a REALTOR existed, what type of people became REALTORS, and what type of things made the best REALTORS successful.
By definition, a realtor is a person who acts as an agent for the sale and purchase of buildings and land; a real estate agent. Doesn’t sound too complicated, does it? It also sounds like something that could be replaced by an App. Our team here at LYF Marketing new that wasn’t the case so we tasked ourselves with coming up with a new definition for REALTORS that we could use as a benchmark to help us develop better REALTOR websites and other tools to help their businesses.
